Since the genesis of mankind, a war has waged behind the veil for the souls of Earth. The Fallen Ones became corrupt and were cast into darkness. All except one. Throughout the centuries, he has survived by possessing those in his bloodline, steering the course of history to his advantage, to find a way to release his Fallen brethren. A secret faction of humans known only as The Magi rises to hold evil at bay, to stand and protect the human race from annihilation.
In the near future, all nations unite under one flag to form the United Earth Federation, a single governing body designed to stop wars, famine, and economic collapse. The advent of technology tears opens a rift between dimensions at the CERN facility in Switzerland, allowing the Fallen Ones into Earth’s realm. Advances in biogenetics and transhumanism provide the perfect stage for the Fallen to corrupt all creation by possessing the bodies of UEF leaders. Once again, The Magi must fight in secret to stop a looming apocalypse, but the Fallen have infiltrated The Magi, and tear them apart from the inside.
The Archangel Raziel, charged with guarding the supernatural balance, calls upon a group of chosen humans to stand against the forces of evil and close the rift before the Fallen can unleash events foretold in Revelation. They are our only hope. They are our last line of defense. They are the Children Of The Apocalypse.
PROJECT SUMMARY
Children Of The Apocalypse will serve as the major motion picture superhighway for the Angel Comics Universe and bookend the first three phases of the ACU. Think of the COTA films as the Avengers movies; each team-up brought more beloved characters together as the franchise progressed, creating hype for every new crossover between properties. Triune: Alien Hunter, Global Order of the Dragon, and Epsilon Gate constantly feed on and off the main COTA superhighway, entwining and crescendoing the Universe toward the ultimate finale, Children Of The Apocalypse: Revelation, at the culmination of Phase Three.
Sticking with the metaphor, Triune: Alien Hunter is the Star Wars of the ACU, a sprawling, other-world story that journeys throughout space and time before crashing into Earth’s reality as it dovetails into COTA. Global Order of the Dragon is the John Wick of our worlds, a self-contained, gritty action / sci-fi adventure that takes place on the everyday human level of the ACU. Rounding out the major properties, Epsilon Gate serves as a Stargate tale, one that connects our world to interdimensional wonders and untold danger.
Additional one-off comics, graphic novels, and live action and anime television series will also feed into the ACU, creating a vast and rich world for international audiences to explore. Each Angel Comics intellectual property is crafted with international casts of characters in mind, which will bring joy and relatability to many cultures around the globe.
